Automotive Sales Consultant at Celebration Chevrolet in Aurora, CO

Automotive Sales Consultant – Experienced or High-Potential Candidates

Celebration Chevrolet | Aurora, Colorado | Full-Time

Average 16.4 Cars/Month Per Salesperson. Small Floor. Big Dealership. Serious Opportunity.

Celebration Chevrolet is adding two sales professionals to our team.

We are not trying to fill our showroom with salespeople.

Our philosophy is simple: keep the sales floor lean, provide our team with real opportunity, train the right people correctly, and help strong performers make serious money.

Last month:

Our sales team averaged 16.4 retail units per salesperson.

Our #1 producer earned $24,000 last month — before additional manufacturer incentives.

And we are continuing to grow.

We're looking for experienced automotive professionals or high-potential candidates who may have never sold a vehicle before.

If you have a proven history of succeeding at what you do, you're competitive, coachable, willing to learn, and capable of following a process, we want to talk to you.

You Do NOT Need Automotive Experience

Automotive sales experience is valuable, but it is not required.

We can teach you how to sell cars.

What we can't teach is attitude, work ethic, competitiveness, accountability, or the desire to succeed.

We are interested in people who have demonstrated success somewhere in their life or career.

That could mean you have:

• Consistently performed at the top of your current or previous workplace
• Succeeded in another commission-based sales environment
• Built a business or developed your own customer base
• Excelled in hospitality, retail, wireless, fitness, home improvement, construction, real estate, or another competitive industry
• Advanced quickly because of your work ethic and performance
• Demonstrated excellence through athletics, leadership, military service, education, or another demanding environment

Your background matters less to us than how you approach your work.

What We're Looking For

We want people who:

• Listen and follow direction
• Are willing to be coached and trained
• Can learn and execute a repeatable sales process
• Show up prepared and ready to work
• Take accountability for their performance
• Are comfortable being measured by results
• Follow up consistently instead of waiting for customers to come to them
• Communicate professionally and confidently
• Can build rapport with different types of people
• Handle rejection without losing intensity
• Ask questions when they don't know something
• Want feedback and actually apply it
• Compete to win without sacrificing the customer experience
• Want an opportunity where increased performance creates increased income

We do not expect a new salesperson to know everything on day one.

We do expect them to listen, learn, follow the process, work hard, and improve quickly.

Already Selling Cars?

If you're currently producing at another dealership, we want to hear from you too.

Our current team averaged 16.4 retail deliveries per salesperson last month, and we intentionally keep our sales floor controlled so opportunities aren't spread across an excessive number of consultants.

If you believe you could produce more with the right traffic, inventory, training, support, and management team, let's have a confidential conversation.

Why Celebration Chevrolet?

A Protected Sales Floor

We're adding only two salespeople.

We're intentionally controlling headcount so our sales consultants have meaningful opportunity rather than fighting an overcrowded floor for every customer.

Real Volume

Our current sales team averaged 16.4 retail units per salesperson last month.

Real Earning Potential

Our top salesperson earned $24,000 last month, excluding additional manufacturer incentive opportunities.

Individual earnings vary based on performance.

Training and Development

If you're new to automotive sales but have the traits we're looking for, we'll teach you the business.

You'll learn our sales process, CRM, customer follow-up, product knowledge, vehicle presentation, negotiation, closing, and the fundamentals necessary to build a successful automotive sales career.

Management That Wants You to Succeed

Our sales leadership is focused on helping salespeople improve, work deals, build pipelines, develop skills, and ultimately sell more vehicles.

We expect performance, but we also provide coaching and direction to help you get there.

Chevrolet + New and Pre-Owned Inventory

Sell across a broad lineup of Chevrolet vehicles along with pre-owned inventory serving a wide range of customers and price points.

Opportunity to Advance

Strong performance gets noticed.

We believe in developing people and creating advancement opportunities for individuals who consistently produce results and demonstrate leadership.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Working showroom, phone, and internet opportunities
• Following up consistently with prospective customers
• Building and managing a pipeline through our CRM
• Conducting professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Learning Chevrolet products, technology, incentives, and programs
• Asking for the sale and developing strong closing skills
• Creating repeat and referral business
• Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
• Following dealership sales processes and management direction
• Continuously improving your skills and performance

A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.

Compensation

Expected Compensation Range: $10,000-$20,000/ Month

Compensation is performance-based and includes commissions under the dealership's sales compensation plan.

Additional manufacturer incentive opportunities may also be available.

For perspective, one or our salesman earned $24,000 in last month, excluding additional manufacturer incentives.

Individual results will vary based on performance. Work hard, and you will make a comfortable living.

Benefits

Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, employee vehicle purchase discounts, and applicable manufacturer incentive opportunities.

Who Should Apply?

Experienced Automotive Salespeople

If you're already producing but believe you could accomplish more in the right environment, we want to talk.

Successful Salespeople From Other Industries

If you know how to compete, prospect, follow up, communicate, and close — we'll teach you the automotive side.

High-Potential Candidates With No Sales Experience

If you have consistently succeeded at what you've done, have a strong work ethic, listen well, take coaching, follow instructions, and are hungry to build a career based on your own performance, we want to meet you.

We're not looking for perfect résumés.

We're looking for people with the right attributes who are willing to put in the work required to become great.

Interested?

We're not hiring ten people.

We're looking for two people who fit what we're building.

Whether you're currently selling 20 cars a month or have never sold one in your life, if you have a history of succeeding, want to be coached, and believe your income should reflect your performance, apply and let's have a conversation.
