Job Description
Summary: Capital One is a Top 10 U.S. Bank, with a strong focus on Commercial Banking. The Analyst in Loan Syndications will support the team by providing research, preparing financial models, and assisting in deal execution for various clients.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining macro and industry data series (such as databases of comparable loans) and company-specific financial models
- Drafting industry, sector, and company reports and presentations for internal use and external client meetings
- Direct work with external clients on the preparation of bank books, lender presentations and rating agency materials
- Supporting deal execution during the syndications process by managing external client and investor requests, maintaining contact and questions lists, etc
- Posting and distributing financial information/data relevant to existing transactions
- Actively participating in due diligence sessions
- Special projects to support new business generation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of commercial or investment banking experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of banking experience, syndications or DCM experience
- High technological proficiency, including mastery of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Formal Credit Training
- SIE, Series 63 and 79
