Level A Assemblers

Location: Lancaster, NY
Term: Contract position - 6 months (extendable)
Shift: Monday to Friday
First Shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm), Second Shift (3:15 pm - 11:45 pm)
Pay Rate: First shift $22.27, Second shift $23.02 (with $0.75 differential) per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

• Assembles various components related to aircraft oxygen systems in accordance to work instructions with a strong focus on quality
• Performs routine set-up and testing of products and is responsible for following safety regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math
• Must have at least 1 year of "hands-on" manufacturing experience
• Must be capable of using hand tools, measuring devices and other tools needed to perform job functions
• Ability to perform assembly work in a high-volume environment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be willing to communicate successfully with team members and other employees as needed
• Will be required to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Must be willing to learn new things and support team activities and other team members
• Must be willing to help/train other team members
