Summary: BSK Associates is a trusted engineering company with over 60 years of excellence and an employee-owned workplace. The Administrative Assistant I will coordinate inspections and field technician schedules, provide administrative support through data entry, document management, report production, and office tasks, and assist with communications, calendars, client interactions, and fleet coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating inspections and creating a schedule for BSK field technicians. Expected to be in the office from 8AM to 5PM daily
- Assist Office Administrator/Manager
- Assist with a variety of administrative support to our management team, including, but not limited to, project setup and data entry within our administrative systems, document management and record retention systems, report production (i.e., printing, binding, and shipping), and various offices tasks as needed
- Manage time constraints to meet daily tasks and deadlines under supervision of other administrative staff, project managers, or the branch manager. Interact daily with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- The position requires a service-oriented attitude to meet our client’s expectations with a very positive and constructive attitude, and ongoing training and mentoring will be provided to help you learn to provide these duties and continue to develop yourself professionally
- Screen calls and visitors, handle routine inquiries, and resolve routine problems
- Prepare correspondence and reports and compose routine communications
- Schedule and maintain calendars of appointments, set up meetings, and manage follow-up action items. Assist fleet coordinator with company vehicle tracking and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred administrative experience
