E-Commerce Warehouse Associate – High Standards (NJ) Bright Colors, Englewood, NJ. Full-time, in person. $18.00/hour. Mon to Thu 10 AM to 6 PM, Fri 4 to 8 hrs depending on workload. This is not your average warehouse job. We run a fast-paced e-commerce business with over 6,000 SKUs, mainly hats and apparel. We ship daily to our customers. Almost all the work is in our own warehouse: picking, packing, organizing inventory, quality control, and fixing merchandise. Some orders are prepped for Amazon FBA, but this is warehouse work, not an Amazon facility. No forklifts. This is hands-on, manual, fast-paced work. We need someone sharp, dependable, fluent in English, and quick on their feet. You follow instructions the first time and take pride in doing things right, no babysitting. If you're not quick and accurate, this job is not for you. This is a small operation. We need everybody all in, 100%. If you're just looking to come in and do your hours, you will not last here. To be clear, this is not an Amazon fulfillment center — we're a small e-commerce business that sells on Amazon and other online platforms. What you'll do: Pick, pack, and ship orders fast and accurately. Verify style, color, size, and condition on every item before it ships. Inspect hats and caps. Steam, reshape, clean, and iron them so orders ship the same day. Spend time every day checking inventory and hat condition. Report what you checked, fixed, and any problems found. Improve and maintain warehouse organization. Inventory by style, color, and size. Everything goes back to its designated box and location. No random piles or hidden stashes. Learn and memorize SKU locations across hundreds of styles and colors. Receive incoming shipments. Check the merchandise, send packing slips the same day, and put everything away in its correct location. Monitor shipping and packing supplies and flag them well before they run low. Process returns daily. Inspect, fix, and return merchandise to its correct location. Never let them pile up. Prep some shipments for Amazon FBA (labeling, boxing). Handle carrier pickups and communicate with the drivers. Have the end-of-day form ready before they arrive. Everything scheduled ships the same day. Keep all work areas clean and cooperate professionally with the team. Communicate immediately about any mistake, damaged item, discrepancy, or shipping issue. Requirements: 2 years warehouse experience, ideally e-commerce (picking, packing, shipping, inventory). Forklift or hi-lo experience alone doesn't count here. Fluent English, spoken and written. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Alcohol-free and drug-free workplace. Show up sober and fit for duty, every shift. Reliable attendance. Small operation, we count on every person daily. No call-outs and excuses. Fast learner, detail-obsessed, physically able to lift and be on your feet all day, hands-on, proactive. Able to reliably commute to Englewood, NJ. No personal phone use during work hours.
