Expectations & Information Sheet of SLAB Staff
SLAB staff are expected to be responsible on the job and on the grounds of Bonclarken, and to represent Bonclarken even when off the grounds. You will be part of a ministry of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church while employed. All staff members are expected to exhibit behavior compatible with the Christian ideals of Bonclarken.
By accepting a SLAB position, you agree to:
- Demonstrate a Christian lifestyle that serves as a model for children, youth, and visitors.
- Be sensitive to the needs of all Bonclarken guests at all times.
- Accept duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Refrain from smoking except in designated areas.
- Refrain from possession of alcohol on Bonclarken grounds.
- Abide by North Carolina laws concerning the use, possession, and sale of alcohol on and off Bonclarken grounds.
- Abide by Federal and State laws concerning the use, possession, or sale of illegal and prescription drugs on and off Bonclarken grounds.
- Avoid illegal activity of any kind.
Bonclarken has the right to terminate the employment of any person who fails to abide by these conditions, who performs unsatisfactorily in the job, or whose behavior is deemed unacceptable by the President of Bonclarken.
