Tool & Fixture Specialist

They are seeking an Associate Tool & Fixture Specialist to support the 737 assembly team by performing routine tool setup activities, making minor repairs, and providing tooling support to other organizations. Responsibilities: - Performs routine tool set up activities - Makes minor repairs - Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools - Operates various factory support equipment to move materials, product, and tools as required - Provides tooling support to other organizations - Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design - Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts Required Qualifications: - Must be willing to work any shift assigned - Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis - 6 months or more of experience in tool set-up and maintenance - 6 months or more of experience in repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, powerfeed, etc - Must be able to obtain and maintain Respirator certification Preferred Qualifications: - 6 months or more of experience setting-up and maintaining powerfeed drills - 6 months or more of experience in setting-up cutters for both manual and automation operations - 6 months or more of experience in operating overhead cranes and/or mobile cranes Required Skills: Tool set-up, Tool maintenance, Powerfeed drills Important Skills: Operating cranes, Respirator certification Nice-to-Have Skills: Minor repairs, Manufacturing tools, Assembly processes, Reverse engineering Benefits: Health insurance, Flexible spending accounts, Health savings accounts, Retirement savings plans, Life and disability insurance programs, Programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work
