Speech Pathologist - 40 hours/week, day… at Beth Israel… · Beverly…

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary therapy team, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves delivering evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population, including adults and children.

In the inpatient adult setting, the SLP will work closely with medical teams to assess and manage patients with acute or chronic conditions, including neurological events, neurodegenerative diseases, and respiratory and critical care cases involving mechanical ventilation. The SLP also manages patients with delirium or altered mental status, post-operative complications, and progressive conditions requiring supportive communication and swallowing interventions.

In the outpatient setting, the SLP will provide individualized therapy services to both adults and pediatric clients. Pediatric care includes treating speech and language disorders, articulation disorders, and social communication difficulties. Adult outpatient care often involves continued recovery from neurological events or progressive disorders, as well as voice, fluency, or cognitive therapy.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, adaptability across patient populations, and a passion for collaborative, patient-centered care.
