BT-350 - Applications Tester Skill Level: Senior Herndon, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience performing regression and unit and acceptance testing (UAT)
• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts to test new or existing applications for compliance with best practices
• Demonstrated experience applying usability and accessibility standards, user research, and user-centered design principles for software development to optimize application interface designs

Work Requirements:

• Test each product or procedure to verify that it provides the desired functionality/outcome, and to validate its performance in accordance with the acceptance criteria for that functionality
• Create and maintain automated test scripts, test existing applications for compliance with best practices and client directives
• Perform regression testing, execute and/or work with client partners on unit and acceptance testing (UAT)
• Perform testing activities in accordance with the client's regulations and policies
• Support the self-evaluation of the IT capabilities and report the Accessibility Score
