Job Description
- Communicates with others to perform the job tasks.
- Safely operates motor vehicle.
- Runs errands to support of the work site.
- Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with / without tools and building materials.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
- Manipulates and generally understands the safe use of different types of power and manual construction tools.
- Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, to fine grade specifications using hand tools.
- Breaks up and remove concrete with power equipment (jackhammer) and hand tools.
- Positions and operates portable and submersible water pumps.
- Cleans and sorts tools, equipment and materials.
- Stocks drinking water containers for the construction site personnel.
- Climbs vertical ladders in up to 25 - 30 foot sections, above/below ground elevation.
- Cleans and maintains the worksite and related areas such as parking lot and office. 14. Adheres to all safety procedures.
- Maybe assigned hole watch and/or firewatch duties.
