Graphic Design Intern at BBB Serving Acadiana in Omaha, NE

Summary: BBB Serving Acadiana is looking for a motivated Graphic Design Intern to assist with design-related tasks as part of their Marketing-Communications department. The intern will be involved in creating visual assets for marketing campaigns, managing design projects, and developing content for social media channels. Responsibilities: - Design visual assets for marketing and sales campaigns — social media graphics, event materials, digital ads and internal communications - Support BBB creative project efforts - Manage the graphic design project queue: track requests, set timelines and coordinate with teammates to keep projects moving - Develop creative content for BBB’s social media channels under the direction of the marketing team - Assist with the coordination and development of marketing campaigns to build awareness and/or meet campaign goals - Assist with BBB events and programming efforts as needed - Provide monthly insights, ideas and key findings from creative projects - Understand and adhere to all BBB policies, laws and regulations applicable to role - Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned Required Qualifications: - Currently taking classes toward a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or related field - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or creative tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail - Ability to commute to BBB's Omaha office - Ability to balance multiple projects Preferred Qualifications: - Effective communication and videography skills - Community-minded self-starter - Deadline driven - Creative and imaginative skills Required Skills: Adobe Creative Suite Important Skills: Graphic design Nice-to-Have Skills: Videography skills, Project management, Creative skills
