Executive Director at Basepoint… · Arlington

BasePoint is seeking a dynamic, driven, and influential Executive Director to lead our Arlington clinic.

This opportunity is designed for a leader who is motivated by ambitious goals, measurable results, and turning a vision into action. You see the big picture quickly and know how to create momentum within a team.

You won’t simply maintain an operation, you’ll have the opportunity to lead it, strengthen it, solve problems, develop people, and drive performance while directly impacting access to behavioral health care for adolescents and young adults.

Why BasePoint?

BasePoint is a mission-driven behavioral health organization providing community-based mental health care for adolescents and young adults. We deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, including PHP and IOP services across Texas.

Our purpose is ambitious: move Texas from the bottom to the Top 5 in access to mental health care by 2030.

We are looking for leaders who are energized by growth, motivated by goals, and excited about building something meaningful.

What You’ll Own

As Executive Director, you will serve as the operational and clinical leader of the facility, with ownership of performance, quality, team development, and the overall success of the clinic.

You will:

• Set the pace for the clinic, translating organizational goals into clear priorities and action.
• Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team that understands where it is going and is energized to get there.
• Take ownership of clinic performance and monthly KPIs, identifying opportunities and acting quickly when results need to improve.
• Communicate the big picture in a way that helps your team understand not only what needs to happen, but why it matters.
• Lead with visibility and presence, remaining actively engaged in treatment teams and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Ensure BasePoint programs are implemented consistently and at the highest standard.
• Partner with leadership to coach, develop, and improve team performance.
• Identify operational barriers, develop solutions, and move ideas into action quickly.
• Partner with Admissions and Utilization Review to support access to care and appropriate payment for services.
• Maintain excellence in documentation, chart auditing, regulatory compliance, and patient care.
• Lead and participate in Joint Commission, licensing, and other regulatory survey activities.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve communication, patient engagement, scheduling, transportation, and access to medically necessary services.
• Create accountability while building an environment where people feel motivated, supported, and excited to perform.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

• Are motivated by goals. You like knowing what success looks like and creating a plan to achieve it.
• Want ownership and independence. You are at your best when given clear outcomes and trusted to determine how to get there.
• Think conceptually. You naturally see connections, possibilities, and the bigger picture and can translate those ideas into practical action.
• Are persuasive. You communicate with confidence and can gain buy-in without relying solely on authority.
• Bring enthusiasm. Your energy is visible, and you know how to get others excited about a goal, idea, or opportunity.
• Move quickly. You are comfortable making decisions, adjusting course, and maintaining momentum in a fast-growing environment.
• Motivate people. You understand that great results come through great teams and enjoy coaching people toward higher performance.
• Are comfortable with change. Growth energizes you rather than overwhelms you.
• Solve rather than escalate. When you see a challenge, your instinct is to understand it, develop options, and take action.
• Balance vision with accountability. You can inspire a team while still setting expectations, measuring results, and addressing performance when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or an equivalent behavioral health field
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of people leadership experience
• Current Texas license as an LPC, LPC-S, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-S
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams toward measurable goals
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to make decisions independently while collaborating effectively with senior leadership
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and passion for improving access to behavioral health care
