Information Security Analyst: Tier 1

The Information Security Analyst: Tier 1 role is responsible for serving as the first line of defense against cyber security threats, detecting and analyzing suspicious security events, and escalating incidents for immediate response and recovery. Responsibilities: - Assists business leaders and technology teams by supporting initiatives requiring Global Information Security (GIS) engagement and facilitating problem resolution for cyber security related issues - Supports adherence to appropriate risk tolerance levels, operating in accordance with defined information security policies to protect against threats to data confidentiality, integrity, and availability - Supports teammates who serve as 'security ambassadors' helping partners drive strategic and innovative risk mitigation priorities and navigate the GIS organization - Interprets the information security requirements outlined in polices, standards, and procedures and reinforces requirements through education and awareness - Promotes awareness of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and advises on potential information security exposure - Assesses and mitigates cyber security risks related to application, network, infrastructure, and public cloud - Responsible for data quality and completion of incident tickets, including ensuring all impacts are accurately recorded and documented in the system of record in a timely manner Required Qualifications: - Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly - Self-starter/self-directed, organized and detail oriented - Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast paced and ever-changing environment - Good verbal and written communication skills - Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding - Broad awareness of information security operations and/or enterprise information technology (Enterprise data management, application development, network management) Required Skills: Cyber Security, Incident Management, Threat Analysis Important Skills: Data Privacy, Protection, Technology System Assessment Nice-to-Have Skills: Business Acumen, Data, Trend Analysis, Customer, Vendor Management, Access, Identity Management, Application Development, Digital Forensics, Information Systems Management, Network Management, Problem Solving, Client Focus Benefits: Industry-leading benefits, Access to paid time off
