The Engineering Operations & Capability group is seeking a Functional Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in orchestrating efficiency for the Engineering Operations and Capabilities (EOC) Group within US Defense. The role includes capturing data and maintaining organization through the use of various tools. Specific examples of activities and tools include: management of multiple Microsoft Teams channels and Sharepoint sites for the EOC and its subsidiaries. The position also includes maintenance of Microsoft Power Apps, Form, and Power Automate workflows. The role also includes capturing tasks in Jira or equivalent Agile tools and participating in Agile scrum meetings. The role includes managing existing PowerBI dashboards to support engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage communication and organization tools for the EOC
- Develop and maintain documentation in support of EOC operations and tools
- Purchase materials in support of EOC activities and track spending
- Manage large events in support of the EOC and Engineering Development including facility and vendor planning
- Work across disciplines inside and outside of engineering
- Assist EOC leadership with action tracking and contact list maintenance
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand data needs and provide updates to tailored analytical solutions
- Participation in Agile management including scrum or kanban
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain secret clearance
- Proven experience in managing events
- Experience with Microsoft suite including Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Sharepoint, Powerautomate, Powerapps
- Exposure to data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of the complex environment involving shared networks
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
- Strong oral and written communications skills

- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
