Job Description
Awards Central Philippines Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Accounting Associate to support our Finance and Accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist in daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, process accounting documents, and support the preparation of financial reports and regulatory requirements.
JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Associate is responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, recording and verifying transactions, account reconciliation, financial documentation, and preparation of accounting reports. The position will also coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, receipts, billing documents, and other accounting records.
- Assist in monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payments.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and other government compliance requirements.
- Monitor and organize accounting documents and ensure proper filing and documentation.
- Assist in tracking company expenses and verifying supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, and other departments regarding accounting-related concerns.
- Assist in monitoring collections, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and assist in resolving them.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accounting summaries, schedules, and reports as requested by management.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents and schedules.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6 months - 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant accounting internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine accounting and tax requirements.
- Familiarity with BIR requirements and accounting documentation.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Able to handle confidential financial information.
- Willing to work on-site in Quezon City.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
