ABOUT AVAIL HOME HEALTH

Founded by a nurse in 1981, we provide one-on-one skilled nursing care throughout Washington State to medically fragile patients in their homes, so they can live with their family in familiar surroundings instead of in a hospital or facility. We are pioneers in the home health nursing field, having brought home the first ventilator-dependent child from Children's Orthopedic Hospital (now Seattle Children's) to live with his family in Yakima. Today, supporting ventilator-dependent patients in their home has become almost commonplace, but the need for compassionate, skilled care for these medically fragile patients has not changed.

We are honored when nurses choose to join us in this extremely rewarding field. Our team members experience nursing the way they always hoped it would be. At Avail, we understand that they are a vital part of the care equation. Staff members are listened to and treated with respect.
