The Nurse Intern in the Trauma Surgical ICU will support patient care by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating on care planning. Responsibilities: - Support your patients’ well-being by assisting with activities of daily living and accurately monitoring vital signs, ensuring they feel dignified and cared for - Observe patient status and responses firsthand. You’ll play a critical role in the care team by documenting and reporting these observations directly to your preceptor - Assist your preceptor in developing comprehensive care plans, using your reports on test results and patient observations to help shape clinical outcomes - Take an active role in the flow of the department, from preparing and transporting patients for diagnostic services to ensuring a safe, clean environment for healing Required Qualifications: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
