Apply Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering excellent customer service on residential HVAC system installations. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Requirements ey Responsibilities: Lead and supervise installation of residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductwork Interpret blueprints, job specifications, and load calculations to ensure proper system installation Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local/state codes Train, mentor, and support junior installers and helpers Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and office staff Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism at all times Complete all required job documentation accurately and in a timely manner Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments in the field Ensure proper startup, testing, and commissioning of installed systems Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience Proven experience leading installation crews or working in a senior installer role Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and installation best practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents EPA Certification (required) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: NATE Certification (Core and/or Specialty) Experience with new construction and retrofit installations Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle (if applicable) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and continued training
