Senior Business Process consultant - Viby DK at Arla Foods in Denmark

Would you like to turn complex procurement processes into practical digital solutions that create measurable business value? And are you motivated by working at the intersection of business, process improvement and technology?

“As our new Senior Business Process Consultant, you will connect business needs with digital opportunities within Procurement. You will join our Digital S2C Excellence team, part of Procurement Data and Digital Excellence, where you will work across Procurement, business functions and digital teams to improve the way we work and help translate business requirements into effective processes and solutions”, says Anette Falk Bøgebjerg, Head of Data & Digital Excellence for Procurement.

How you will make an impact

Reporting to the Head of Digital S2C Excellence, you will play an important role in developing and improving Arla's source-to-contract and procure-to-pay processes. Combining process knowledge, data and stakeholder insights, you will identify improvement opportunities, help design solutions and support their implementation across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Facilitate business process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to define and document clear objectives, requirements and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse process and performance data to identify trends, challenge existing ways of working and recommend improvements.
• Design process and digital solutions that support business priorities, working closely with Digital Business Consultants and relevant Procurement and business teams.
• Maintain high-quality process documentation, define and monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with Arla's process framework.
• Support change management, stakeholder training and the successful handover of improved processes to operational teams.

What will make you successful

For this role, we are looking for someone with 2-3 years of Procurement category knowledge and preferably an understanding of Source-to-Pay processes.

You have a Master’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field, are interested in how digital solutions and data can enable better ways of working, and you are comfortable turning business requirements and analysis into practical recommendations. LEAN background would be an advantage.

You do not need to know everything from day one. What matters is that you bring solid knowledge about source to contract processes and are motivated to develop your expertise further in a complex, international Procurement environment.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Approach complex challenges with curiosity and use data and critical thinking to understand problems and identify practical solutions.
• Build constructive relationships across functions and can communicate requirements and ideas clearly to different stakeholders.
• Take ownership of your work while actively collaborating with others to create improvements that work in practice.

As Arla is an international organisation, professional proficiency in English is required.

What do we offer?

You will become part of Digital S2C Excellence within Procurement Data and Digital Excellence in Aarhus. The team has adopted agile ways of working and you will work in an environment where business expertise, data and digital capabilities come together to improve the way Procurement operates.

The position offers an opportunity to build your expertise in business process management and digital transformation while working with colleagues across functions and geographies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvements while developing your professional capabilities within a global organisation.

We are committed to professional development and creating a collaborative environment where colleagues share knowledge and support each other in delivering results. You will join a global, farmer-owned dairy cooperative working to create value for our customers, our farmer owners and the wider world.

Would you like to join us?

If you would like to combine your category experience and business process skills with data and digital solutions to help shape the future of Procurement at Arla, we would be pleased to hear from you. Please apply as soon as possible, as we will process applications on a continuous basis and close the recruitment once the right candidate is found.
