Job Description
Summary: Applied Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join their team in Wyoming, MN as a Product Support Engineer. In this role, you will create and refine exploded views of assemblies, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure documentation accuracy for product support.
Responsibilities:
- Create and refine exploded views of assemblies using Creo and SolidWorks for use in spare parts catalogs and product documentation
- Interpret complex CAD models, part files, and assemblies to identify components and ensure accurate representation
- Generate clear, user‑friendly visual content that supports part identification and catalog usability
- Review, validate, and maintain BOM accuracy in alignment with CAD data and catalog requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve discrepancies between CAD models, BOMs, and documentation
- Ensure documentation and data are properly managed within Windchill
- Assist in preparing documentation and catalog content required for NFPA 1900 compliance
- Review CAD and BOM data for compliance‑related updates and ensure alignment with standards
- Work closely with design engineering, product management, and technical publications teams to ensure catalog content is complete, accurate, and aligned with product requirements
- Participate in design reviews and documentation checkpoints as needed
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
- Contribute to projects that impact communities in Forest Lake, Lindstrom, East Bethel, Hugo, Centerville, and Andover, and the greater Minneapolis Metro

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- Proficiency with Creo and SolidWorks, including creating and manipulating assemblies and exploded views
- Experience with Windchill or similar PLM systems
- Strong understanding of BOM structure, part relationships, and configuration management
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
