Job Description
Summary: AngioDynamics is dedicated to improving patient outcomes by focusing on the development of disruptive and differentiated technologies. The intern will provide practical experience while supporting the Supplier Quality team in developing quality agreements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team with developing quality agreements with all suppliers
- Update component questionnaires for high-risk suppliers
- Communicate with outside suppliers
- Partner with the Supplier Quality team to support on various projects
- Work on projects that will help develop analytical, audit, research, testing and validation skills
- Attend and participate in department meetings
- Develop and maintain documentation and forms
- Use Excel, Word, Project Management, or Visio to create correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, graphs, flowcharts, etc
- Provide customer service to the department’s internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory/legal requirements
- Update supplier certifications and contracts
- Introduce a system for tracking and updating CMR questionnaires
- Support development of Expiry report automatization with IT Team
- Support team in defining systems to improve record keeping
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college Level Degree
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15lbs
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time
- This position requires some travel up to 0% of the time
