Sales Director – Assisted Living

The Oaks at Shady Lawn

High Energy. Big Personality. Relationship Builder. Results Driven.

The Oaks at Shady Lawn is looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and motivated Sales Director to help grow our assisted living community!

We’re not looking for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. We want someone who loves people, thrives on building relationships, and gets excited about creating connections in the community.

If you’re the person who can walk into a room and start a conversation with anyone, loves networking, follows up relentlessly, and gets energized by turning a new connection into an opportunity — we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do

As our Sales Director, you’ll be the face of The Oaks at Shady Lawn in the community while helping prospective residents and families discover everything our assisted living community has to offer.

• Drive census and occupancy growth through proactive sales and marketing efforts
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, senior organizations, home health and hospice agencies, community leaders, and other referral partners
• Get out into the community and network, network, network
• Generate new leads through outreach, events, partnerships, and creative grassroots marketing
• Respond quickly and enthusiastically to inquiries from prospective residents and families
• Conduct engaging tours that make prospective residents and families feel welcomed from the moment they walk through the door
• Consistently follow up with leads and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Plan and participate in community events, networking opportunities, open houses, and outreach activities
• Work closely with leadership and clinical teams to create a smooth transition from initial inquiry through move-in
• Track sales activity, referrals, conversions, and occupancy goals
• Bring new ideas, creativity, energy, and urgency to our sales efforts

Who We’re Looking For

We want a people person with a sales mindset.

Our ideal Sales Director is:

• Energetic, outgoing, confident, and highly personable
• A natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys meeting new people
• Competitive, motivated, and excited by achieving goals
• Comfortable making calls, walking into referral sources, networking, and asking for business
• Persistent with follow-up and understands that speed matters in senior living sales
• Creative and willing to think outside the box to generate leads
• Organized enough to manage a busy pipeline without losing the personal touch
• Passionate about helping seniors and families navigate the transition into assisted living
• Able to represent our community professionally while still bringing plenty of personality

Experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare sales, admissions, marketing, hospitality, or business development is preferred. However, for the right person, we value energy, drive, personality, and proven sales ability just as much as industry experience.
