Job Description
Summary: Amentum is a global company with a long heritage in delivering solutions in nuclear energy and national security. They are seeking a Maintenance Management Intern to assist with planning and organizing maintenance operations, analyze equipment failures, and propose improvements for efficiency within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform an analysis of equipment failures to determine the best approach for development of a library of off-the-shelf maintenance work procedures to help reduce equipment downtime
- Assist with surveillances and data gathering for ongoing organizational performance monitoring
- Work on documenting existing processes within the organization and propose improvements for increased efficiency
- Identify areas of communication breakdown within teams and propose strategies to enhance communication channels
- Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of Sophomore year toward a BS Degree in related scientific field
- No experience needed
- Please ensure you provide number of credits earned and current GPA on your resume
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentum visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site
