Alto Cirra is hiring a Director of Operations. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Role overview
Own operational cadence across flight programs, logistics, and cross-functional teams. Translate strategic priorities into repeatable execution, useful KPIs, and mission-ready field capacity.

What you’ll do

• Set operating plans and review rhythms across flight programs, logistics, and supporting functions.
• Define and monitor practical measures of readiness, throughput, and execution; use them to guide improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional capacity planning, remove blockers, and report operating progress to leadership.

Required skills and criteria

• Leadership experience owning operations across multiple teams or programs.
• Ability to build operating systems, use metrics to guide decisions, and turn priorities into execution.
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving across field and office teams.

Recommended skills

• Experience scaling aviation, UAS, atmospheric, or other field-deployment operations.
• Experience developing KPIs, operational reviews, and cross-functional capacity plans.
