Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at AlphaSine Technologies in Lucknow

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer with a strong focus on motor control systems to design, develop, and optimize firmware for Brushless DC (BLDC) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). You will work closely with hardware and systems teams to implement high-performance, real-time control algorithms that maximize efficiency and dynamic response.

Key Responsibilities

• Firmware Development: Design, write, and test robust bare-metal or RTOS-based embedded C/C++ code for 3-phase motor controllers.

• Control Algorithms: Implement advanced motor control schemes, including Field-Oriented Control (FOC), Space Vector PWM (SVPWM), closed-loop speed/torque control, and sensorless estimation techniques.

• Model-Based Design (Preferred): Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm simulation, control loop tuning, and automatic code generation.

• Hardware Integration: Interface firmware with power electronics, gate drivers, ADCs, PWM modules, and feedback sensors (encoders, resolvers, Hall sensors).
• Debugging & Validation: Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, and debuggers) to analyze performance, tune PI/PID controllers, minimize acoustic noise, and troubleshoot thermal or electrical issues.
• Communication Protocols: Integrate standard peripheral communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
