Job Description
BCBAs don't need another job. We need another path.
If you've been a BCBA for a few years, you've probably seen the cycle.
A recruiter reaches out. A company promises higher pay, better benefits, a sign-on bonus, or a healthier culture. You make the move, hoping this time will be different.
A year or two later, you're looking again.
The problem isn't that you haven't found the right employer.
It's that you're still looking for one.
What if you built your own practice instead?
That's why we started Alpaca.
We believe clinicians should own the practices where they provide care. So instead of hiring BCBAs, we partner with them to build independent practices.
You stay the owner and clinical leader, with full control over:
- How you deliver care
- Which families you serve
- Your schedule and caseload
- Who you hire and how you compensate them
- How quickly you grow your practice
Instead of building someone else's business, you build your own.
And, practice owners on Alpaca earn $160,000-$230,000+ annually, depending on the size of their practice.
Unlike a traditional salary, your income grows as your practice grows.
So, what does Alpaca do?
We provide the infrastructure behind the scenes, including:
- Fast in-network access to major payers in your state
- Guaranteed biweekly payouts, so BT payroll is never a concern
- AI-powered software for scheduling, data collection, documentation, and payroll
- End-to-end administrative support, so you never have to wait on hold with insurance
Think of us as the operating system for your practice. You focus on your clients and clinical care while we help run the business.
You own your own LLC, employ your own team, and have your own brand and identity. Alpaca Health is here to support.
Who this is for
This path is a great fit if you:
- Are an experienced BCBA ready for more autonomy
- Have thought about starting a practice but weren't sure where to begin
- Want to build something lasting instead of changing employers every few years
- Believe clinicians should own the practices where they provide care
If you're ready to step off the job-switching treadmill and build a practice that's truly yours, we'd love to talk.
