As a Security Officer - Flex Officer, you will safeguard clients and visitors at a commercial real estate location, managing visitor check-ins and maintaining a professional lobby experience while ensuring security protocols are followed. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk of a commercial office location - Greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, issue visitor credentials as required, and notify tenants or designated contacts of arrivals - Monitor access points and lobby activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and maintain a professional presence while remaining at the assigned post - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communications with site contacts and/or emergency responders when directed - Complete security-related reports and documentation, including visitor logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal supervision Required Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Required Skills: Customer service, Security procedures Important Skills: Incident response, Monitoring access points Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
