We're an independent directory of aged care facilities, nursing homes and retirement homes across Australia.

The role

You'll take official data (star ratings, staffing figures, fee schedules, government reports) and turn it into clear, accurate content that families can use. Day to day, that means:

• Plain-language guides on choosing and paying for aged care (RADs, DAPs, means testing, star ratings)
• City and region guides ranking the best-rated homes
• Facility profile copy built from official sources
• Updates to our national aged care statistics report as new data is released
• Newsletter and social media content

About you

• You can turn dry, complicated source material into writing anyone can follow
• You care about accuracy. Every figure has a source and you check it
• You have at least two years of writing experience in content, journalism, health, finance or similar
• You can write with SEO in mind without it reading like SEO
• You're comfortable using AI tools in your workflow, and you know that fact-checking and final judgement are yours
• Aged care, health or finance knowledge is a plus but not required
• You're based in Sydney

Pay: $53,080.44 – $100,875.17 per year
