Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist – Full-Time

Hahn Ace Hardware is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our Mequon team as an Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist!

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, has an interest in outdoor power equipment, and takes pride in keeping a department stocked, organized, and running smoothly.

Your primary responsibility will be taking ownership of our outdoor power equipment department, including brands such as STIHL, Toro, and Ariens. However, this is a retail position, and you'll also assist customers and support operations throughout the entire store.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the store.
• Help customers select outdoor power equipment, accessories, and related products.
• Ensure outdoor power equipment is properly stocked, organized, priced, and displayed.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and correcting inventory issues.
• Monitor out-of-stock merchandise and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Assemble and prepare outdoor power equipment for display and sale.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers with equipment features, operation, and maintenance.
• Assist customers in other departments and support daily store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready sales floor.

Mechanical Experience Is a Plus!

Experience with small engine maintenance, tune-ups, or minor repairs would be a great addition to this position, but it is not required. We're also interested in candidates who would like to learn these skills.

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
