Job Summary:
It involves handling various payroll-related tasks. This includes managing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and handling individual tax and social security contributions. The role also requires good technical aptitude in payroll, finance, and systems, as well as knowledge of India Payroll.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end India payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments
Validate and execute payroll inputs, handle full & final settlements, including notice pay, leave encashment, gratuity, and recoveries
Perform payroll reconciliation and validate outputs before disbursement
Implement tax updates and regulatory changes in payroll processes
Ensure 100% statutory compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other labor laws
Process gratuity and leave encashment as per regulations
Drive process improvements for accuracy and efficiency
Safeguard confidential payroll data and uphold information security
Job Qualification:
Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
8 years’ experience in Full & Final (F&F) Settlement processing in Indian payroll
Expertise in end-to-end F&F lifecycle: exit inputs, validations, final payouts
Skilled in notice pay recovery, leave encashment, bonus, gratuity, reimbursements
Strong grasp of compensation components affecting F&F calculations
Knowledge of statutory compliance for separation: PF, ESI, PT, LWF
Proficient in gratuity eligibility, calculation, payment timelines
Experienced with tax implications on F&F, including TDS and reconciliation
Up-to-date with tax rules and labor law changes affecting exit settlements
Handled employee exit queries, F&F clarifications, settlement communication
Accuracy-focused in F&F reconciliation and audit readiness
Detail-oriented to ensure error-free settlements within deadlines
Additional Information:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in commerce or a related field, along with good knowledge and experience in relevant countries Payroll processing.
- This position is based at our Bangalore office.
