Summary: AAA Auto Club Enterprises is the largest club within the national AAA federation, and they are seeking a Part-Time Driving School Instructor. In this role, you will deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students, assess their performance, and promote safe driving habits while accommodating flexible schedules. Responsibilities: - Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA’s curriculum and training standards - Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress - Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance - Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Minimum of 5 years of driving experience - Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam - Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening - Experience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry - Confidence working with the public, especially teens - A strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits - Flexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day - Physical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbs - Must be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations Required Skills: Driving instruction, Automotive industry experience, Safe and defensive driving practices, Driving School Instructor license, Valid driver’s license, Driving school software, Confidence working with the public Benefits: Flexible Scheduling - Part-Time (20-28 hours/week), Paid Licensing & Training, Growth & Advancement Opportunities
