About the opportunity

Join 360 Business Solutions as an API/Integration Engineer supporting enterprise modernization where legacy SQL Server and on-prem systems are being migrated to AWS and rebuilt as modern .NET services. You will design and implement reliable APIs and integrations that connect modernized components with existing enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

· Design, build, and maintain REST (and related) APIs for modernized business capabilities.

· Implement integration patterns between legacy systems, new .NET services, and AWS-managed components.

· Define and enforce API contracts, versioning, authentication/authorization, and error-handling standards.

· Work with Database Modernization and .NET engineers to expose capabilities previously locked in stored procedures.

· Build resilient integrations (retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, observability).

· Support mapping and transformation of data across system boundaries during migration phases.

· Contribute to API documentation and developer experience for consuming teams.

Required qualifications

· 4+ years building APIs and system integrations in enterprise environments.

· Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core Web APIs or equivalent backend API stacks.

· Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, OAuth/OIDC or similar auth patterns.

· Experience integrating with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and message-based systems.

· Ability to debug cross-system issues and document integration behavior clearly.

· Comfortable working in Agile remote teams with English as the working language.

Preferred / nice-to-have

· AWS integration services (API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, AppSync, etc.).

· Event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging experience.

· OpenAPI/Swagger-first design practices; contract testing.

· Prior modernization or strangler-fig migration projects.

How we hire

Candidates complete role-specific skills assessments on the 360 Teams platform, including objective scoring and rubric-graded code or long-answer evaluations, before advancing to interviews with the engagement team. You will be employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) in the Philippines or India, with 360 Business Solutions managing onboarding, ongoing support, and career development. This role requires meaningful working-hours overlap with the client’s US business day; specific overlap expectations, equipment, and benefits are discussed during the hiring process.
