About the role:
A restaurant attached to a hotel in Kaikōura is looking for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join their team ahead of the busy summer season.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is confident managing a restaurant and bar, leading a team, and providing excellent service to international guests.
Requirements
Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and barLead, support and give clear direction to the teamMaintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and hygieneHandle customer enquiries and complaints professionallyOversee responsible service and handling of alcoholHelp ensure the restaurant and bar operate smoothly during busy periodsIdeally 3+ years' experience in a senior restaurant, bar or hospitality management roleGood spoken English and confident communication skillsComfortable leading a team and giving clear instructionsConfident dealing with customers and resolving complaintsExperience working with alcohol and managing a barMature, reliable and able to work independentlyComfortable living and working in a smaller, more isolated location such as KaikōuraOverseas candidates are encouraged to apply as required by business needs.
