Origination Lead - Private Credit at 0TO9 in Berlin, Berlin, DE

About Fuels Capital

Fuels Capital is a European private credit firm with offices in Stockholm, Berlin and London. We provide asset-backed financing to entrepreneurs, company builders and privately held companies across Northern and Western Europe. We help our clients unlock liquidity from businesses, holdings and other assets, creating capacity for acquisitions, growth, refinancing and ownership-related situations.

Our strategy centres on secured, asset-backed lending, typically backed by real estate, financial assets and other hard collateral. We invest across two segments: (1) Growth – entrepreneurial capital for SMEs; and (2) Corporate – tailored financing for larger and more complex situations. We provide loans of up to EUR 25 million.

Founded in 2025, Fuels is already profitable and on a strong growth trajectory. Joining us means being part of an ambitious, entrepreneurial team building a distinctive European credit platform.

About the role

In this role you'll own the top of our funnel together with the Growth/Origination team. While our investment team structures and executes the deals, the Origination team make sure there are deals to execute – and that the right entrepreneurs, company owners and advisors think of Fuels first. This is a hands-on, builder role for someone who creates their own momentum. There is no pipeline to inherit and no warm leads handed over from a desk – you build your own book from zero. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving origination: identifying, approaching and qualifying entrepreneurs, business owners and corporates with financing needs
• Building and activating a network of potential customers
• Owning outbound activity end-to-end – meetings, campaigns, events – with a disciplined pipeline
• Qualifying opportunities and handing them over to the investment team, staying close to the relationship through close
• Together with the team representing Fuels in the market and strengthening our brand and positioning
• Feeding market intelligence back into our product offering and growth strategy

About you

We are looking for a commercially driven, self-going professional – from mid-level to senior. What matters is drive, ownership and the ability to open doors. You likely have:

• Demonstrated experience building your own book from zero in a cold market – in B2B sales, business development or origination, ideally from banking, debt advisory, lending/fintech, or professional services serving entrepreneurs and the companies they are building
• A track record of building pipeline and winning new client relationships
• Enough financial fluency to hold a credible conversation about financing needs with owners and CFOs
• An existing network among entrepreneurs, advisors or banks – a strong plus
• Fluency in German and English
• An entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset – you take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment

What we offer

• Be part of a fast-growing company backed by a licensed financial group
• Entrepreneurial, high-trust culture with significant responsibility, exposure and incentive
• Beautiful office in central Berlin
• Strong opportunities for professional growth and development
