Job Description
Summary: Zscaler is a leader in digital transformation and cybersecurity, leveraging AI to enhance their Zero Trust Exchange platform. They are seeking a highly organized and analytical Product Operations Intern to support the efficiency of the Product organization by managing operational data and facilitating communication across teams. This role will help streamline processes and improve collaboration, ensuring a smooth product lifecycle from concept to launch.
Responsibilities:
- Embrace AI’s potential by developing tailored applications that support the unique needs of Zscaler’s Product Operations organization
- The intern will partner with Product Operations teams to capture business requirements and translate them into practical AI-enabled tools and applications that improve operational efficiency and decision-making
- Map current product development and launch processes (e.g., bug triage, feature readiness checks) and propose specific improvements to reduce friction and accelerate time-to-market
- Support the administration of core product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms) by ensuring data integrity, managing user access, and maintaining system health
- Organize and maintain the central Product Knowledge Base (e.g., in Confluence), ensuring that critical specifications, technical FAQs, and decision logs are easily accessible and up-to-date for internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems (MIS), or a related analytical field
- Computer Science (BS/MS) student with practical experience designing and deploying agent-based automation solutions using Python and modern agentic workflow frameworks (e.g., PydanticAI), including integrating with internal tools/APIs to streamline repeatable operations work
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and succinctly—both verbally and in documentation—with technical (Engineering) and non-technical (Sales/Marketing) stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong bias for action, demonstrated by previous experience managing documentation, tracking project milestones, or administering information systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an MBA degree
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and concepts or experience with AI development toolsets
