Job Description:

Are you a technical leader with a passion for mission-driven sales? We are looking for a visionary Manager of Sales Engineering to lead a high-impact Healthcare SE team covering Arizona, New Mexico, California, Pac Northwest, and the Rockies.

In this role, you won’t just manage a team—you will be the architect of technical strategy for organizations that provide critical care to your region’s people and families. You’ll lead a squad of elite technical experts who bridge the gap between complex cloud security and the life-saving missions of our healthcare partners.

Lead the team by example as they envision and create innovative customized solutions, deliver business value, perform impactful demos, and ensure smooth technical handoffs.

• Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team
• Refine sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
• Coach your team to success with developing comprehensive solution proposals and delivering succinct, impactful product demonstrations
• Provide expert advice for requests for proposals (RFPs) and present recommendations to clients
• Create influence through technical whiteboarding and impactful presentations to your customers and their leadership teams with a keen eye on the personas in the room
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure solutions are implemented according to the customer’s expectations.

Who You Are (Success Profile)

• You own your outcomes. Your passion fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the Sales Engineers on your team. You adapt to what’s needed, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
• You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
• You are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor your decisions in solving their real-world problems. You champion their needs from start to finish, knowing their success is our success.
• You are driven by innovation. You have a deep curiosity for how things work and are energized by solving complex technical challenges. You believe in the power of technology to accelerate transformation and are always looking for a better, more secure, and scalable way.
• You are resilient and adaptable. You view change as an opportunity and setbacks as temporary. You maintain composure and focus in high-pressure situations, guiding yourself and your team through complexity with a steady, positive hand.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles.
• 2+ years of experience directly leading and managing technical teams.
• Deep Technical Expertise: Proven experience selling network security technologies (SSL/web technologies, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Industry Certifications: Possession of CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Strategic Engagement: A leadership style that balances high-level strategy with the ability to "roll up sleeves" for strategic account wins.
• Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling.
