Summary: zHealth is seeking a driven Data Analytics Intern to work directly with their leadership team on high-impact analytics projects across RCM, Sales, and AI product insights. The intern will work with real healthcare data, analyze billing performance, and help shape how data is used to drive automation and AI across the business. Responsibilities: - Analyze claims data, AR aging, denials, and payment trends - Identify opportunities to improve collections, reduce denials, and optimize revenue cycle performance - Build reporting around key RCM metrics (e.g., Days in AR, First-pass acceptance rate, collection rates) - Support analytics for AI-driven products like AI Scribe - Analyze usage patterns, accuracy trends, and provider behavior - Help define metrics that measure AI performance and business impact - Build dashboards to track pipeline, conversion rates, and sales team performance - Support outbound metrics (calls, demos set, close rates) - Analyze customer acquisition and retention trends - Build and maintain dashboards in tools like Salesforce, Excel, or BI platforms - Clean, structure, and validate large datasets - Deliver insights and present findings to leadership Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (must-have) - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SQL and/or Python - Interest in healthcare, AI, or SaaS business models Required Skills: Healthcare data analytics, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) analytics, AI product analytics, SaaS metrics, Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, Analytical mindset Benefits: Hands-on experience in healthcare data + RCM analytics, Exposure to building and measuring AI products in production, Direct experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC), Opportunity to work closely with the CEO and leadership team, Real ownership of projects with visible business impact, Strong resume signal for careers in AI, healthcare, or analytics, Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
