Summary: ZGF Architects is seeking an AR-1 Intern to join their team in Portland. This internship is designed for high school students and focuses on supporting the design and administrative teams while gaining hands-on experience in architectural assignments and collaboration. Responsibilities: - Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation - Collaborate with ZGF teams to generate and develop ideas - Perform miscellaneous office duties, organize the material library, prepare presentation materials, and potentially visit job sites - Assist with elemental architectural assignments and work collaboratively with others toward solutions - Help tell the story of our projects through various forms of media - Work under the direction of experienced professionals and receive specific, detailed guidance regarding tasks and expected outcomes - Support projects and initiatives by contributing to team-based solutions Required Qualifications: - Creative curiosity and a willingness to learn - An interest in design, the design industry, and/or graphic storytelling - A desire to collaborate with and learn from others - Strong organizational skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel - Current enrollment in a high school program Required Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Creative curiosity
