Junior Product Manager Intern at Zayo Group in CO - Denver

Summary: Zayo Group is a leading provider of mission-critical bandwidth to impactful companies. They are seeking a Junior Product Manager Intern to support an operations-driven product team focused on improving internal processes, tools, and workflows across the business. Responsibilities: - Partner with Engineering/IT, Finance, Network Operations Center, and other teams to understand pain points and improvement opportunities - Participate in workshops, requirement sessions, and stand-ups to keep everyone aligned on goals and priorities - Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria - Help track project milestones, risks, and dependencies, following up with owners to keep initiatives moving - Support user acceptance testing by drafting test cases, organizing test cycles with business users, and tracking issues/defects - Document test results and work with Product, Operations, and Technology to ensure issues are understood and resolved before go-live Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration - Strong interest in product management, business operations, and process improvement - Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly - Detail-oriented with good organizational and follow-through skills; able to juggle multiple tasks - Familiarity with productivity and project tools (e.g., MS office, Google Sheets) - Basic analytical skills and an eagerness to learn how to interpret data to support decisions Required Skills: Product Management, Business Operations Important Skills: Process Improvement, Analytical Skills, Project Management Tools Benefits: Excellent Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Retirement 401(k) Savings Plan, Generous paid time off policy including paid parental leave
