Job Description
Summary: Zayo Group is a provider of mission-critical bandwidth, serving impactful companies across various sectors. They are seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, playing a key role in the financial performance of Zayo Networks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain in-depth analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting of financial and business performance
- Prepare and maintain monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and reporting records of financial and business performance to support company-wide financial and operational goals, initiatives and objectives
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close and reporting responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of presentations (internal and external) of financial and operational business results and analysis
- Maintain data fidelity in our financial databases
- Assist in internal spend analysis, providing detailed budget performance for Executives
- Presenting to senior leadership, including SVP of Finance, CFO and other C-level leaders
- Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance or business
- 1+ years of FP&A experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to support FP&A functions including financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis required
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple levels of leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work CT or MT hours
- Professional demeanor; self-accountable
- Ability to manage a high-volume of workload efficiently and effectively
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work extended hours (some evenings and weekends, when necessary) and achieve results in a deadline driven environment
- High energy individual with strong work ethic and ability to multitask
- Must be a self-motivator with a 'We can' attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information when needed
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment that could be ambiguous
