Administrative Assistant - Regular Part Time (RPT)

Reports to: Executive Assistant
York General is seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to executive and clinic leadership. This 24-hour per week position serves as a key liaison between providers, clinic operations, and organizational leadership while supporting scheduling, credentialing activities, meeting coordination, document management, and day-to-day administrative functions.

- Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Family Medicine Practice Administrator.
- Coordinate provider clinic schedules, calendar maintenance, and coverage arrangements.
- Track Continuing Medical Education (CME), provider reimbursements, and phone reimbursement records.
- Assist with provider credentialing documentation and maintain credentialing files.
- Coordinate meeting and committee logistics, prepare materials, and record meeting minutes as needed.
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and distribute reports, correspondence, presentations, and other documents.
- Maintain administrative records and electronic files, including SharePoint document management.
- Serve as a liaison between providers, clinic leadership, and organizational leadership.
- Assist with special projects and provide backup support to the Executive Assistant.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of administrative or office support experience.
- Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare administration and provider credentialing is a plus!
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
