As we continue to scale our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Vadodara, we’re looking for a leader who can strengthen and transform global Project Engineering execution across regions and business segments.

Your future role
Step into a high-impact leadership role where engineering execution, customer focus, and operational excellence come together at scale.
You will lead and grow a global Project Engineering organization supporting Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) programs, partnering closely with teams across regions to deliver customized engineering solutions that meet customer, schedule, quality, and cost commitments.
Working alongside passionate leaders and experts across the globe, you will:
Drive excellence in global project engineering delivery
Shape scalable engineering execution models and governance
Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What you’ll be doing
You will play a critical role across multiple dimensions:
🌍 Strategic Leadership
Align Project Engineering capabilities with global ETO/CTO demand and execution priorities
Partner with Project Management and Segment Engineering leaders to translate customer requirements into executable engineering scope
Represent GCC Project Engineering in global operational and project governance forums
Drive organizational transformation through strong operational and strategic leadership aligned with engineering and corporate priorities
📈 Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Standardize Project Engineering processes, tools, and governance models, including change control and risk management
Drive improvements in delivery, productivity, quality, engineering efficiency, and cycle-time performance across global teams
Reduce rework, variability, and engineering lead times through disciplined execution practices
Embed Lean and KPI-driven performance culture to improve predictability and transparency
👥 Building & Leading Teams
Develop high-performing Project Engineering leaders and delivery teams across regions and segments
Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence
Drive capability building, succession planning, and effective capacity management to support multiple concurrent projects
⚙️ Project Engineering Excellence
Lead execution of global Project Engineering programs, ensuring delivery on time, with quality and cost efficiency
Establish clear engineering assumptions, boundaries, and controls for ETO/CTO project execution
Provide strategic technical oversight across engineering domains to strengthen execution excellence and alignment with global standards
Drive strong collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Field teams to enable smooth downstream execution

That said, here’s what will help you succeed:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
15+ years of experience, with strong exposure to global engineering and project execution environments
Proven leadership experience in Project Engineering, ETO/CTO, or custom engineering delivery models
Strong understanding of engineering execution, governance, capacity management, and delivery excellence practices
Ability to lead in a complex, matrixed, global setup
A collaborative leader who can influence across cultures, functions, and business segments
