Location: Morrisville, North Carolina (Office)

THE ROLE
As a Compliance Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate compliance-focused projects to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, audit readiness, reporting, and customer commitments. You will partner closely with internal teams and customers to manage risks, close gaps, and maintain compliance with industry standards including ISO and SOC frameworks.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
Lead compliance-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery of all milestones, reports, and customer commitments
Plan, prepare, and conduct on-site and remote audits, including opening and closing meetings, audit execution, gap analysis, and reporting
Support Xylem technologies through compliance and certification audits, including ISO and SOC frameworks
Develop, track, and report weekly and monthly project metrics, dashboards, and status updates
Identify, assess, triage, and drive resolution of quality, performance, and compliance issues impacting project success
Manage project changes and drive internal stakeholder accountability for defined deliverables
Maintain detailed project tracking for schedules, milestones, resources, inventories, budgets, invoices, and task dependencies
Collaborate with internal Xylem teams, customers, and partners to identify trends, mitigate risks, and resolve issues
Develop and maintain customer Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, including annual or bi-annual testing
Partner with Xylem automation teams to streamline tools, processes, and compliance workflows
Promote agile practices and alignment to ITIL frameworks across project execution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in compliance, technology, or regulated environments
Hands-on experience participating in or conducting ISO audits with a working knowledge of compliance requirements
Strong knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 20000, 27001, 27017, and 27701
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio); Atlassian and/or Smartsheet experience preferred
Proven ability to identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and inter-project impacts
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform effectively in fast-paced environments
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Utility industry experience
Disaster Recovery experience, including tools such as Cohesity or Zerto
ISO and/or SOC certification experience
PMP certification (completed or in progress)
ITIL certification (completed or in progress)
