Role Summary

The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational framework of the organization, ensuring efficient execution of business activities, regulatory compliance, and scalability of infrastructure. This role bridges strategy and execution across custody, client onboarding, treasury flows, and transaction management.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Design and implement operational strategy aligned with business goals
• Oversee daily operations including trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting
• Build scalable operating models for advisory, custody, and investment platforms
• Drive automation and process efficiency across function

Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

• Oversee KYC/AML onboarding processes (individuals, corporates, SPVs, VCC structures)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSRA, FSC Mauritius)
• Manage client data, documentation, and periodic reviews

Custody & Asset Servicing

• Supervise custody operations including:
• Account opening (client money / custody accounts)
• Corporate actions, settlements (DvP/RvP)
• Safekeeping and reconciliation
• Liaise with global custodians (e.g., Northern Trust) and bank

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage multi-bank relationships and cash flows
• Oversee funding, margining, and liquidity management
• Implement controls around client money segregation (if applicable under COBS/CASS)

Regulatory Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to:
• Conduct of Business (COBS)
• Client Asset Rules (CASS)
• AML/CFT requirements
• Maintain operational risk framework and internal controls
• Coordinate audits, regulatory reporting, and inspections

Technology & Infrastructure

• Oversee implementation of:
• Portfolio management systems
• Custody platforms
• Transaction monitoring tools
• Work with IT on cybersecurity and data protection frameworks

Vendor & Counterparty Management

• Manage relationships with:
• Custodians
• Fund administrators
• Brokers
• Banks
• Oversee outsourcing arrangements (aligned with regulatory expectations like GEN 3.3)

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED23,000.00 per month
