Job Purpose
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, compassionate housing association working within our communities to provide safe, secure and well-maintained homes and deliver first rate services for our residents.
Due to expansion of the team, we have a new position available for a Community Housing Officer to join our team.
You'll be working collaboratively with our residents and external agencies to deliver the highest possible standards of housing services.
This will include: -
- Ensure that our estates are kept clean and safe and any improvements are identified, planned and delivered.
- Ensuring vulnerable residents are supported and that any anti-social behaviour is addressed and prevented.
- Working proactively to be a visible presence on our estates, ensuring residents sustain successful tenancies by providing guidance, early intervention, and practical solutions to tenancy-related matters.

This role requires you to be predominantly visiting residents and working on our estates. You will be based at our offices in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
Applicants must be able to travel across the region as required and therefore access to a vehicle is essential.
This post is subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance.
You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this vacancy; WHA are not able to offer visa sponsorship. You are required to reside in England or Wales for the duration of your employment.
