Summary: WuXi AppTec is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support their Business Operations teams. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial data management and business analytics, where the intern will assist in analyzing financial data and improving reporting processes. Responsibilities: - Assists with business data collection, reconciliation, and reporting to support accounting operations - Supports the preparation and analysis of weekly financial reports, project / revenue tracking - Assists maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and accounting documentation - Conducts business data analysis to identify trends in sales, project performance, and operational metrics - Assists in developing dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms - Supports data validation and ensures accuracy and integrity of financial and business data - Participates in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting and data workflows - Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Project management, Business Development, Finance and Operations Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED required - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity - Good communication and teamwork skills - Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English proficiently - Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time - Must be able to perform some activities with repetitive motion, such as keyboarding - Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is a plus - English-Chinese Bilingual is a plus Required Skills: Financial data analysis, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Data visualization tools, Analytical skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Bilingual (English-Chinese), Teamwork skills
