ICSS CSU Superintendent at WSG Energy Services in British Columbia, CA

Key Responsibilities

Lead all ICSS commissioning, start-up, and systems completion activities. Manage commissioning teams, subcontractors, and vendor representatives. Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate activities between construction, engineering, operations, and commissioning teams. Ensure completion of pre-commissioning, functional testing, loop checks, and plant start-up requirements. Monitor commissioning progress and provide regular status updates to project leadership. Review and resolve technical issues impacting commissioning activities. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project HSE requirements and industry standards. Support turnover documentation, system handover, and client acceptance activities. Participate in project planning meetings and readiness reviews.

Qualifications

Degree, diploma, or trade certification in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline. Minimum 10+ years of commissioning and start-up experience within industrial projects. Extensive knowledge of ICSS, DCS, SIS, PLC, and field instrumentation systems. Proven leadership experience supervising commissioning teams. Strong understanding of systems completion and turnover processes. Experience on LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, or major industrial construction projects is considered a strong asset. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
