Job Description
Summary: WPP Media is the AI-driven media operating unit of WPP, focused on delivering creative personalization at scale. The Recruiting Coordinator will be part of the Emerging Talent team, responsible for enhancing candidate experiences for early career talent interested in internship and entry-level roles while supporting the Talent Acquisition practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Emerging Talent recruitment team, coordinate candidate interviews, partner with recruiters and hiring managers to support an efficient hiring process and manage job postings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Arrange and confirm interview schedules, coordinating with hiring managers, and handling any last-minute changes and/or reschedules
- Assist new hires with the onboarding process, ensuring they have all necessary information and resources to start their roles smoothly
- Ensure that all hiring procedures comply with WPP Media policies and legal requirements
- Monitor and maintain various communication channels with prospective candidates and internal colleagues seeking information regarding early talent events and career opportunities
- Partner with WPP Media Marketing teams to create and promote campaigns and early talent programs across social channels
- Assist with TA-related projects and initiatives as needed, such as attendance at recruiting-related events and promoting a positive company culture
- Ensure event registration, recruitment assets/swag, room bookings, catering, and other-related event tasks to ensure all aspects of the event are executed as planned
- Assist in projects and assignments as needed
- Must have a strong capability in customer service skills and communication to build trust and respect among teammates, colleagues, and candidates
- Exceptional organization skills and situational awareness
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize/pivot when necessary
- Interest in social media and marketing to build creative social campaigns to attract early talent
- Comfort and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS TEAMS is a plus
- Knowledge of Greenhouse or another Applicant Tracking System, Handshake, and/or interest in technology (ATS, data & analytics) is a plus
- Previous experience working with an emerging talent recruitment team is a plus
- Previous experience with event planning/management is a plus
- Ability to travel locally or domestically as needed to assist with recruitment-related events is a plus
