Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Techno-Functional professional with 10–12 years of overall experience and strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise across GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and R2R processes, along with a good understanding of reporting, integrations, interfaces, and technical extensions.
The role requires a combination of hands-on functional configuration, techno-functional problem solving, solution design, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership. The candidate will work closely with Finance business teams, technical teams, senior stakeholders, and implementation/AMS partners to deliver and optimize Oracle Fusion ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional – Primary Focus
- Provide hands-on functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Financials modules based on business and enterprise requirements.
- Work extensively across:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Fusion Expenses
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Design and optimize finance business processes and workflows.
- Support period close, financial reporting, reconciliation, and consolidation processes.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), solution design documents, test scenarios, and process documentation.
- Conduct and support CRP, SIT, UAT, and end-user training.
- Provide production support, issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
2. Technical / Techno-Functional Responsibilities
- Provide techno-functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Work closely with technical teams on:
- OTBI
- BI Publisher
- Custom reports
- Interfaces
- Integrations
- Extensions
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Understand functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements for development teams.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integration and interface-related issues.
- Support technical teams in designing and implementing Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Understand data flows between Oracle Fusion and other enterprise applications.
- Participate in solution design for reports, interfaces, integrations, and extensions.
- Support Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and perform functional/technical impact assessments.
3. Consulting & Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance and business stakeholders.
- Lead requirement-gathering and solution-design discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Manage client/business stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead small teams and provide guidance to functional and techno-functional consultants.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Global Technology, Oracle/OEM teams, and implementation partners.
- Provide oversight for AMS and production support activities.
- Drive issue resolution, prioritization, and escalation management.
- Ensure solutions follow Oracle Fusion best practices and enterprise standards.
- Participate in solution reviews, design discussions, and governance meetings.
Must-Have Skills
- 10–12 years of overall IT/ERP experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Oracle Fusion Financials experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials configuration.
- Strong expertise in GL and R2R.
- Good working knowledge of AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Expenses.
- Experience in 2–3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementations.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and period-close activities.
- Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion integrations, interfaces, and extensions.
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience in CRP, SIT, UAT, testing, and end-user training.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience leading teams or managing delivery activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
