Technology Internship - Summer 2026 at World Kinect in MIAMI, FL

Summary: World Kinect is a global leader in the energy industry, seeking highly motivated college students for their Technology Internship Program. Interns will gain exposure to software development, cloud programming, and cloud infrastructure while working onsite in Miami, Florida. Required Qualifications: - Junior students currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Technology - Must have programming experience - Software Development track! - Local candidates only - Miami, Florida - Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better - Must have a scheduled graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027 - Must be available to work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Miami, Florida. (June 1 through August 7th) - Must have experience in software programming: Java/C#/Angular/JavaScript/HTML/CSS or other object-oriented programming experience - Understanding of information technology; including hardware, O/S, database technologies, middle-ware, micro-service application architecture and continuous delivery - Understanding of business fundamentals - Eagerness and passion to learn with an elevated level of motivation and drive - Extraordinarily strong written and verbal communication skills - Work under minimal supervision and adapt to a dynamic, changing environment - Strong interpersonal and team-working skills - Must be a creative and innovative thinker Required Skills: Software Development, Java, Cloud Programming Important Skills: HTML/CSS, Information Technology Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication Skills, Teamwork, Creative Thinking Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
